These are the things that decide whether you are still happy in two years, and none of them is the colour. Ask them of us, and ask them of anyone else quoting you.

You can hang the most expensive blackout made and still have a bright bedroom if the track stops at the edge of the glass. Light comes around the sides, not through good fabric. The fix is 15–20 cm of track onto the wall each side, a centre overlap where the panels meet, and a floor-length drop.
If a quote does not say, it is being measured to the window rather than to the room — track or pole covers what goes where.
A single blackout gives you sun or darkness and nothing in between, so people leave it shut and put the lights on at noon. A chiffon sheer in front of it gives you the setting you actually live in all day: light in, glare out, nobody seeing in. It needs a double track, and it is the most common thing we fit.
Worth knowing which you are being quoted before you compare two prices — see blackout or sheer.
The soft, gathered look comes from using more fabric than the window is wide — 2.0× for a classic pleat, 2.2× for a sheer, 2.5× for a wave. Cut lean to reach a cheaper number and the curtain hangs flat and looks it. This is the single biggest hidden difference between two quotes that look alike.
It is a number, so it can simply be asked for — how much fabric curtains need shows the maths.
A blackout drawn at 4pm, when the room is already warm, is holding a line that has been crossed hours ago. The same curtain closed at noon means the heat never arrives. On a west-facing window nobody is home to cover, that is the whole argument for a motorised track on a timer.
Only worth it on the windows that take the afternoon — motorised curtains and blinds sets out where it pays.
Four steps, one fixed price, and nothing to pay until the curtains are hanging.

Only you changing your mind — a different fabric, a longer track, one more window. Those are re-quoted in writing before anything is cut. A ceiling that turns out to be harder to fix into, or fabric that costs us more than we thought, is our problem. It is priced in.

It knows our four catalogues, the headings we make and how we fit them. Ask it what suits a west-facing bedroom, or what the difference between wave and pinch pleat actually is — then hand yourself to a person on WhatsApp the moment you want a real appointment.
We are a trading company first. The fabric you pick is already in the UAE, which is why we quote days rather than weeks.

Read the blog →Most people searching for curtains in Dubai are trying to answer three practical questions at once: where to buy curtains, what curtains cost here, and whether to take something ready-made or have them made to measure. This section answers those before you spend anything.
There are broadly three routes. A curtains shop in Dubai will usually sell ready-made panels in fixed sizes, which is the cheapest way to cover a window and the least likely to fit one. A trading market such as Dragon Mart sells fabric by the metre, which works if you already have a tailor and know your measurements. The third route is a made-to-measure curtains supplier who brings the fabric to you, measures the windows and installs the finished curtains — which is what we do, across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates.
Buying curtains online in the UAE is possible and works best when the window is standard and the fabric is one you have already seen. Where a window is tall, wide, or set in a deep reveal — most apartments here — the fit is the part that decides the result, and that is difficult to buy from a photograph.
Curtain prices in the UAE are quoted per window rather than per panel, and two quotations for the same window can differ widely without either being dishonest. Three things move the figure: fullness (the ratio of fabric to track width — 2.0x for a pinch pleat, 2.5x for a wave), track length (measured past the glass on both sides, so a wide window costs more than a tall one), and lining (a sheer plus a blackout on a double track is close to twice the cloth). A cheap curtain quote is usually cheap because one of those three has been cut. Our price estimator works from your own measurements, and how much curtains cost in Dubai explains each factor.
Ready-made curtains are worth it when the window happens to match a stock size and the room is not critical. Custom curtains in Dubai are worth it when the drop is unusual, when the window is wider than a standard panel, or when the room needs to be genuinely dark — because with any blackout, light comes around the edges long before it comes through the cloth. Fitting is what closes those edges, which is why the installation is part of what we quote rather than an extra.
The two products most homes in Dubai buy are blackout curtains and sheer curtains, and the common arrangement is both on a double track: the sheer works all day for privacy and glare, the blackout closes at night or against the afternoon sun. If you are choosing one, choose by room rather than by price — bedrooms want blackout, living rooms usually want the sheer doing the daily work. Blackout or sheer covers it properly, and many homes end up with both curtains and blinds in Dubai — blinds are often the better answer in a kitchen or a small bathroom.
Colour is the one thing a screen gets wrong. Fabric backlit by a Gulf sky behaves differently from fabric on a monitor, and warm afternoon light pushes neutrals yellow while a north-facing room pulls the same shade grey. Our four fabric catalogues — three blackout, one chiffon sheer, 76 shades — are held in our own UAE warehouse, which is also why we quote days rather than the weeks an imported order takes.
Measuring is ours to get right, so we do it rather than ask you to send numbers — how measuring works explains what gets recorded. On the visit we record the track width, the finished drop and what the ceiling will take — a concrete slab, a false ceiling or a shallow bulkhead each change the fixing, and an AC vent above the window changes where the track can sit. Curtain installation is included in the price you approve, along with the fabric, the tailoring, the track and the fittings.
Ask any curtains supplier in Dubai three questions: what fullness the quote is based on, how far past the glass the track runs, and whether installation is included. Those three answers explain almost every price difference you will see. If you want a figure for your own windows first, use the estimator; if you would rather see the fabric in your own light, the home visit is free and there is no deposit to book one.
Collected after installation across Dubai, Sharjah and the northern emirates.
Two tracks in the bedroom, sheer in front. The sun comes straight into that window in the morning and now it is completely manageable.
Ordered on a Monday, fitted on the Friday. Five days from measuring to hanging, exactly as they said. The blackout is genuine — the room is dark at noon.
My daughter used to wake at 5:30 with the sun. First morning after the fitting she slept until 7. That alone was worth it. Fabric is from book 303 and it feels much heavier than what I was shown elsewhere.
Good price, good fabric and a team that turned up when they said. There is not much more to ask for.
Two bedrooms and the majlis, all catalogue 302. The team measured on the Saturday and fitted the following Thursday. What I did not expect was how much cooler the west bedroom is now in the afternoon — the AC stopped running constantly.
Wave track along a six-metre window. The folds stay perfectly uniform whether open or closed. It is the detail that makes the whole room look finished.
Quoted, fitted and invoiced with no surprises. The fitters removed all the packaging and took the old rail away with them.
Rollers for a home office. The screen glare is gone and the blind sits flush inside the recess.
The fitters noticed my ceiling was not level and adjusted the track so the curtains hang straight anyway. That is the kind of thing you only find out later if it is done badly.
They cover Ajman properly, which many Dubai companies do not. No extra travel charge and they arrived on time.
Went for the double layer after seeing the books at home. Sheer during the day, blackout at night, and the two tracks were installed level to the millimetre. Price on the quote was the price I paid.
The consultant brought all four catalogue books to the flat. Seeing the fabric against my own window in daylight completely changed which colour I picked — the one I chose online looked grey in my living room.
I only wanted sheers for the living room. They did not try to upsell me into blackout, which I appreciated. The chiffon softens the light beautifully and the room still feels bright.
Floor-to-ceiling glass on two sides. The sheers cut the glare without making the apartment dark, and the fitters got the drop right to the centimetre above the floor.
Very good work and a fair price. The only reason for four stars is that the first fitting slot was moved by a day. Once they arrived it took under three hours for four windows and they cleaned up after themselves.
Pinch pleat in the formal sitting room. The folds are even across the whole width, which is the part cheap curtains always get wrong. They hung and dressed them properly before leaving.
Good blinds at a good price. I would have liked a wider colour choice in the roller range, but for the blackout function they do exactly what was promised.
They came all the way to RAK for two bedrooms and still gave me the same fixed price. Fitted in one visit.
Sheers for a small apartment on a budget. They were honest that I did not need a heavier fabric for a north-facing room instead of selling me the expensive book.
Fair work for a fair price. Delivery was a day later than first indicated but they called ahead rather than leaving me waiting.
Book 303 jacquard in the majlis. Guests keep asking where they came from. The pattern lines up across the two panels, which I did not think to ask about and they did anyway.
Simple eyelet curtains for a rented flat, and they were happy to do a small job without making me feel like a small customer.
Rollers for the kitchen and the study. Wipeable, compact, and the chain is on the side I asked for. Small thing, but they asked first instead of guessing.
I wanted something light for the majlis that still gave privacy from the street. The chiffon does both, and it does not look cheap up close.
Motorised blinds on the high windows in the stairwell — the ones I could never reach. Set to open at seven and close at sunset. Installed cleanly with no visible wiring.
Third quote I took and the only one that included the track, the fittings and the installation in one number. Nothing was added afterwards.
Whole ground floor. The centre overlap on the blackout panels means no light gap down the middle, which was exactly my complaint about the previous curtains.
The physical catalogue makes the difference. Colours on a phone screen are meaningless — I saw eight shades side by side in my own light and picked a completely different one.
Straightforward from start to finish. The measurer wrote everything down, the quote arrived the same evening, and the final invoice matched it.
Second order with them. They still had the record of my first fabric so the new room matches the old one exactly.
They talked me out of the fabric I originally wanted because it would not hold the pleat at that drop. They were right. That kind of advice is why I have already recommended them twice.
Motorised track in the bedroom. Works well and is quieter than I expected. The remote pairing took two visits to get right, hence four stars, but they came back the same week and sorted it.
Excellent fabric and fitting. Communication in the week before the visit could have been slightly better, but the work itself is faultless.
Full villa, eleven windows. They handled it in one day with three fitters. Having their own warehouse stock clearly made the difference on the timeline.
The dressing of the pleats after hanging is what I noticed. They tied them and left them to set, then came back to release them. Nobody else offered that.
Fitted nearly a year ago. The colour has not faded on the window that gets direct afternoon sun, which is what I was most worried about.
